The Voice Break Choir follows a group of young pubescent choir boys in Sweden struggling to reclaim their masculinity as their voices become deeper and simple childhood days fade away. Whilst discussing the everyday lives of teenagehood and the turmoils within the spheres of their school and home environment, the film is a truly touching story to affirm confidence for boys to be uniquely themselves without facing discrimination and helps to empower the aspects of individuality within a community of music and performance. The film screened at the 2021 Hot Docs Festival and 2021 Tempo Documentary Festival and has been selected for the 2021 Busan International Film Festival.
