A striking look at nature conservation and how it affects the local communities; this film juxtaposes the beauty of the Hluleka MPA in the South African Wild coast with the despair of the locals who need the ocean to survive. It bravely and beautifully emboldens the plight of communities who are within the demarcation of the marine protected area in the hopes of finding a middle ground that affords nature the protection it needs and the people the sustenance they deserve. This film masterfully depicts the dichotomy of conservation and community impact, over stunning shots and poetry.
