Glass Negatives is a journey about the memory, history and lifetimes of Polish civilians during wartimes. Told through a blend of developed photographs, each image is reminiscent of the societal era and alludes to certain unforgettable memories of the living relatives who analyse and explain in great detail the times in which the photographs were taken, forced to confront a reality so deeply missed. Aided by a strikingly haunting score, photographic negatives are brought to life to remind us of the pastimes of a people who had been quite literally erased from society. The film was selected for the 2020 Kraków Film Festival.
